Meet the micro-farmers that are building a dream called Loving Ewe Farm. Ah shucks.

Angela Rivas rugel

A certified Master Gardener, flora artist, former gardening teacher and founder of Kids Craft Challenge, Angela has worked in floral art, botanical design, garden design, edible gardens, and the San Francisco Botanical Garden before founding Loving Ewe Farm. She graduated from UC Santa Barbara, studied at the University of London and attended a Masters in Education program at Cal State Hayward. Her passion for flora art and botanical design stems from seeing the moment of awe & wonder when people interact with live plants.

Mathew lopez

A man equally talented at woodworking and planting a new mini orchard as he is in a stylish suit addressing colleagues, Matt does it all with thoughtfulness and determination. He also coaches the kids’ soccer and closes million dollar deals in the security industry by day. But at home, he’s an urban farmer who is building the dream. He is our resident engineer, carpenter and Master Pickler - and has literally built the farm from the ground up, board by board.

The dynamic duo, I mean quadro! Our tiny but mighty team are the backbone of the farm, or at least we hope they will be someday. Planting seeds, pulling weeds, harvesting veggies. We love them for inspiring us to dream big, work hard and love more. Every. Single. Day. They are our reason(s).
